Machine and Work Axes

All XYZ Coordinates are in Inches

  • X axis 0-60
  • Y axis 0-114.5
    • 0-18 is pocket area
  • Workspace Axes are oriented in the same fashion
  • Red star denotes Machine 0,0,0 and Gold star denotes the HOME position.

Interface M, G-Codes, Miscellaneous

  • M6 G43 – Tool Change, Enable Tool Length Offset
    • Stores current tool if it was pulled from the rack, loads requested tool
  • G43 – Enables Tool Length Offset, should be ON
  • G49 – Cancels tool length compensation, DON’T do this!
  • GO TO ZERO – moves to working X/Y zero
  • GO TO G30 – Go To Predefined Position (in this case, Tool Setter)
  • GO TO HOME – Returns spindle to back right
  • All pre-programmed movements above are ‘Z First’ meaning they will raise the spindle to max height before moving on the X or Y axes.
