Meeting Minutes

  • Financial update by Sue
    • Some free money from Amazon! Thanks Amazon!
    • There was some opening balance that was unattributed to any fund, so we'll just stick it in General
  • Billy solicited a company to send some donations to machining, but they wanted him to do a review. What to do?
    • Billy discussed with the company, Billy is going to do the product review personally and will donate them to KM.
    • But what about future products? Would it be appropriate to put it on the KM youtube channel?
    • Is KM a person? This idea is whack.
    • Next question is quality control on these possible videos being put on KM's channel?
    • Issac, Sean, and Suzannah will brainstorm some guidelines for if people want to do reviews on the KM channel.
  • Tracy updated on KILLSWITCH
    • We think we're good on the date but the holidays have made it hard to communicate.
    • But we will press on
  • Andrew updated on projects
    • Door hardware is almost done, then final inspection for interior projects.
    • Blacksmithing building is starting to look like a building!
    • Next inspection is framing
  • We really need a cleaning day!
  • Issac brings up the concept of doing one-on-one or on demand classes.
    • There was a lot of discussion - we decided to table it for the next meeting.
  • Sean updated us on his search for bffs in the media
    • Sean needs a succinct way to describe what we do so that the media has the right expectations - a press kit of sorts.
  • Next year's board! Almost everyone is interested in staying in their positions for the next year
    • Do we just off Andrew's position or what now. All our grants are looking to be fulfilled soonish.
    • Andrew has certainly done a great job this past year. Thanks Andrew!
  • Rental bays - people keep putting stuff in them and not telling anyone.
  • Annual members meeting - January 28th, 2020 at 7pm
  • January Board meeting - January 22nd, 2020 at 7pm
