To issue a gift card, create a sales receipt to record the sold gift card for the member. 1. Go to the +New menu. 2. Select Sales Receipts. 3. Fill in the customer's info and Date. 4. Line one, Gift card – Buy item, quantity, and amount, Class defaults to Gift Certificate. 5. Enter who the card is for in the Description 6. Enter who the card is for, the ticket # and the Gift Card # in the Message displayed on statement field 7. Click Save & Close. When the Gift Certificate is redeemed for dues: 1. Go to Member menu. 2. Search for member and go to the transactions. 3. Click on the invoice. 4. The dues are on the first line. 5. Then enter the Gift Certificates – Use on the second line with a negative amount and Class of gift Certificate. 6. Select Save & Close. When the Gift Certificate is redeemed for ticket or other: 1. Go to the +New menu. 2. Select Sales Receipts. 3. Fill in the customer's info and Date. 4. Fill in Line 1 like normal 5. Then enter the Gift Certificates – Use on the second line with a negative amount and Class of gift Certificate. 6. Select Save & Close.
