Etc.

Current items

  • Nail down which social media services to focus on so that the Board can set up any needed accounts and we can begin working on those accounts' presences (images, info, additional content, planning, etc.)
  • Identify social media services that might still be used for announcements, etc. without official KM accounts
    • Craiglist
    • local online East TN forums
    • online public event announcement calendars (local radio, Metro Pulse, etc.)
    • Reddit (Jess has offered to post to Reddit)
    • Digg (early objections already received, due to Digg's post-mortem ineffectiveness)
    • any relevant sites members are already registered on that they could post to
    • etc.

Multiple accounts/campaigns

This section anticipates the possibility of multiple accounts. One example is that the MakerBot Cupcake in shop, once fully functioning and printing items, can be personified and given a gimmicky Twitter account. This could be automated (e.g., "@KMCupcake: just #printed another air hockey puck") or controlled manually (e.g., "@KMCupcake: Hungry for ABS today, anyone gonna feed me?")

Twitter

  • @KnoxMakers
