Minutes

• How crappy is East Towne Mall now? Very
• Pizza tonight instead of donuts.
• The lovely Mary Thom stopped by and talked about our city mandate to plant a bunch of trees.
• Sue gave the financial update
  • Member count end of April was 161
  • Andrew spent all of our money and Jondale spent a ton too
  • YTD we are $5200 in the black
• Sue has finished the Purchasing Policy and Billy will put it on the website and let people know about that
• It is time for us to update our insurance policy and Issac is setting up a meeting for us to talk about our needs
• Sean is interested in going to NoMCon and is hoping to get assistance with the ticket cost
  • Our brand new purchasing policy says that the board needs to vote on stuff like this so see below
• Andrew alerted us to the hole in the wall
• Sean was frightened by the sun shining on him from the hole in the wall
• Andrew wants to put a door in that hole this coming Saturday
• Billy is working on getting the uni-strut up
• We have a pole barn in the mail!
• We also need to start getting materials to build this wall in the classroom
  • But where do we put it?
  • Discussed wall building issues.
• Billy wants to move the big air compressor outside for quite a few good reasons
  • Billy is going to come back with a more exact cost to do this
  • We should also consider how it looks - we would have to talk to Mary Thom about it since it will be so visible.
• Issac is ready to bring up KILLSWITCH for the year
  • The idea is to have a committee that is not the board entirely to get this going
  • Tracy is the head of the committee for KILLSWITCH '19
• Jondale was supposed to contact the lawyer about our lease forms but he forgot we had a board meeting
• Bryan confirmed that the rental bays are still there - still working on cleaning them
• Sue brought up that the website should have an easier way to donate to specific causes
• Sean got a facebook message inviting us to a different MakerFaire to do a workshop or event
• Sue brought up trying to get a KM costume repair booth for Marble City ComicCon
• The board meeting was less than 90 minutes! What?! Issac has a new found interest in efficiency
• Next board meeting is June 26, 6pm

• Voted unanimously to pay for Sean's ticket to NoMCon (Sean recused himself from voting)
