Board Meeting: October 22, 2023

Sue starts off with the financials
Membership update - count at 337
Mayor's Maker Council
- Jondale is our new representative
Maker Faire is no more - we are pivoting to do a type of maker experience at the Dogwood Arts Festival
- We will do 11 classes or facilitate others to do them and have an info booth
- We will have power available probably
- We should try and get KM to do at least 2-3
Annual Member Meeting coming up soon
- How will we do voting? Seems the same as last year
- Should read the bylaws and determine if there are any changes that need to be made
Board retreat soon - there will be pre-work so prepare thyselves
The new bathroom cleaning people are great - it even smells clean!
Someone asked about installing a bike rack - we should get a plan and get someone to champion it before asking Spark if we can bolt it to the ground
No other maintenance issues
