Board Meeting: November 12, 2023

Sue starts off with the financials
- We bought a fiber laser!
Membership update - count at 341
Maker Experience - Jondale is trying to gather people to teach some things at the Dogwoods Arts Festival
Resource Fair this past week - About a dozen makery type orgs and businesses had tables at the Emporium
- It was a good place to meet other orgs - especially when people aren't a good fit at KM - we can point them elsewhere
- Maybe A1 Arts people are interested in teaching classes
- Also good to get the word out that we're looking for a building
Annual Member Meeting - Coming up January 23, 2024
Board retreat next weekend!
- We kindly ask the members to not have any ragers while we're all out of pocket.
Transforming Western - got an email which was pretty much nothing new
Toy Tech - coming up soon but is a bit disorganized - Issac will hopefully get more info soon
Electrical work - Bryan has been injured so not much progress has happened
- Will meet with Billy to get exact details this week
Bike rack project - still waiting for :thumbs_up: from Spark
Next meeting - December 17, 2023 - be there or be square
