Issac: President

• Spark news - very productive meeting last week with their entire board - He is crossing his fingers that he will have a good announcement for us very soon
• Dogwood Arts Festival is next weekend and we're ready for that - stop by the Maker Experience!
• Vestival also coming up - we should make a nice showing since they are our neighbors (May 9th)
• Maker Market coming up - getting on community calendars and next posting on socials about it.
• Maybe we have a poster night where everyone makes art for the market

Sue: Treasurer

• Biggest expense is now our mortgage payment
• But now our equity includes a whole building!
• We also upgraded our bank account - aren't we spiffy!

Tracy: Membership Director

• Started weekly video chats with BKS. We need to keep them updated on all the cool things we're doing or that our members are doing
• Many new trial members, but that's nothing new :)

Russell: Community Director

• Talks and Crafts going well - pretty good queue right now

Jondale: Tech Director

• Jondale is coming to us from the desert.
• Large donation of rack servers that they've worked on
• New haxdb is up - please log into your my.knoxmakers.org account to help things sync up
• Council's focus is on Dogwood Arts Festival at the moment

Daryl: Communications

• Daryl is on a plane and can not join today

Sean: Creative Director

• It's Sean time!
• Social promotion for Market and other stuff we're doing like Dogwood Arts and stuff
• Trying to think of ways we can partner with other arts orgs in the area

Billy: Facilities

• Roof! Making an appointment for a roof scan to find out what exactly we need.
• Need also to talk to someone about trimming trees that are hanging over the roof
• Need some shelf units hauled so we can expand Member Storage

Other stuff

• Issac's laptop died and he quit the meeting early :(
• Next meeting May 17th
