Procedure for matching a class payment in PayPal - non-member ticket

  • Navigate to the Class Roster in Wordpress (Events, Events, find the specific class and click on Attendees)
  • View the name of the first non-member ticket purchased.
  • In Quickbooks, click the plus sign at the top right and choose "Sales Receipt".
  • Choose Non-Member in the top left box.
  • Change the Receipt Date to the date of ticket purchase.
    • This can be found either by clicking the "Completed" Status on the person's name in Wordpress, or viewing the PayPal download of that payment.
  • For PRODUCT/SERVICE, choose "Classroom Ticket".
    • When dividing between budgeting classes, each separate budget class should be its own line.
  • Put the person's name in the Description field for each line
  • Make sure the total matches the ticket price total.
  • Click "Save and Close".
  • In Quickbooks, go to the PayPal download page.
  • Click on the person and choose "Find Match".
  • Match that person to the Sales Receipt you just created.
  • Go to the Class Roster in Wordpress and click "Check In" for that person.
