To help out getting the word out for Knox Makers' events:
- Remind a board member if the official social media pages haven't advertised an approaching event date (FB/G+ event page, Twitter tweet, Google Group reminder with more info)
- If you use social media, make sure you connect with Knox Makers' official pages and share event content. If you use social media that Knox Makers doesn't use, mention that to someone and include your reasons for using that service and what you like about it or why you think Knox Makers could benefit from using it.
- Adopt a communication platform that the Board isn't taking on after running it by them first (a social media service they can't dedicate to, a favorite local messageboard you haunt, a local online calendar, your personal blog, your favorite telephone pole, etc..). Dedicate to ensuring your adopted platform gets updates consistently about Knox Makers events. If consistent dedication is tricky for you, consider grouping with someone else or letting others know when you can't spread the word about events.
