When matching member payments, pay attention to the ‘’’Date’’’ and ‘’’Member’’’

Regarding the date, some members have recurring payments before the first of the month, or prepay their dues. 

*Look at the ‘’Description’’ and ‘’Category or Match’’ columns.  Disregard the ‘’Payee’’ column.
**If the names match, move on to looking at the date.
**If the date of the payment coincides with the month in the ‘’Category or Match’’ column, it’s a match!
** Click ‘’Match’’

*If the names do not match:
**Click on the transaction
**Search the list for the correct Pledge
**If the correct Pledge is not in the list, click ‘’Find other matching transactions’’
**In the search field, search for the member’s name
**Select the correct Pledge
**If the correct pledge is not in the list, check the date range to make sure the correct month is included
