Minutes

• This year each person on the board will report on their individual projects so we can keep everyone on task

Issac: President

• Spark news: We had a meeting scheduled with MT but she was not feeling well so still tbd
• Building news: Things continue to move along in a productive and encouraging fashion
  • We are getting ready to put in a Letter of Interest (similar to an offer in residential real estate)
• Fundraising: We've began working with fundraising professionals to help us run a campaign
  • We initially thought we'd be only asking for a little bit to get us to building ownership, but we've been encouraged to fundraise for a much more substantial amount. If we're successful, we might not carry the loan very long at all. :cross_fingers:
• Maker Education Meetup: Sue attended this month, and it was held at a school in South Knoxville
• Maker Market: Next weekend!
• Killswitch: Next weekend as well!

Sue: Treasurer

• Fairly normal income
• A couple out of the ordinary expenses (lawyer fees, birthday party, etc.) but nothing unexpected

Tracy: Membership Director

• 377 members, although she hasn't done her quarterly cut yet

Russell: Community Director

• Russell is sadly out today and you should message and harass him
• We have gotten positive feedback on the newsletter

Jondale: Tech Director - Nerd department

• Fixin stuff
• We have an official phone number so Sue and Issac's personal numbers don't have to be on documents. We are not going to publicize it so don't even try (It's 555-NOTHING)
• Mayors Maker Council: New member turnover so onboarding them and prepping for new year

Daryl: Communications

• Daryl is communicating from the woods today
• Website is slowly but surely plugging along. Working on cosmetics and content.
• Next is setting up Venmo on the site
• Close to MVP!
• Setting up a donate page for the fundraiser - the plan is to use every.org because it offers various methods of giving (stocks, DAFs, crypto) and also handles tax reporting and some other things.

Sean: Creative Director

• Market promotion this week
• Some engagement with our newfound social media push, but nothing outstanding yet

Billy: Facilities

• Shop air project going well
• Shop inventory progressing

Other stuff

• Sean has stepped down as Arts & Crafts czar and Matt B. and Ashley G. have stepped up to lead that area. Thanks for your ongoing work, Sean!
