* How can we create drama so more people come to the board meetings?
* Sean can't navigate and was late.
* Donuts aren't nuts.
* Andrew schooled us on pawpaw plants.
* We finally started in with the business stuff.
* Financial update from Sue.
** Member count: 168
** Received reimbursement from Blacksmithing grant and have had lathe donations coming in so we're flush.
** Classes are down :/
* Insurance adjustment meeting summary from Issac and Tracy:
** Insurance agent sent us a questionnaire and we're hoping to hear back from her in early July with quotes from underwriters.
* Sean gives his report on NOMCON 2019
** He met Adam Savage and also Norbert the Giraffe.
** Pretty much we're awesome.
** Sean focused on learning about fundraising, equity in making, diversity and inclusivity.
** Sean wants to make music from his armpit germs.
** His suggestions:
*** We have grown, now we need to mature.
*** Be obvious and deliberate about being a safe third space for everyone.
*** Have a mini-retreat for the board to clarify longer term goals and get reinvigorated.
*** Digital badges are fun and can push values.
*** Moar events!  KILLSWITCH obviously, maybe something in the spring - getting involved in community events.  Advertise them.
*** Member survey - a few months before annual meeting.  Can lead to greater focus for leadership.
*** Diversify classes - try for soft skills maybe to bring in a more diverse crowd.
* Codes compliance updates from Andrew and Billy
** We have a door!  It is installed but almost done.  And it closed when it was supposed to!
** Lots of little things to do with electrical.
* Grants project update
** Thanks Jondale for having a big boy tractor.
** Was slightly delayed by conduit running through one of the holes.
** Next step is to finish the holes and get inspector to look at our holes.
* Jondale's lawyer has been on vacation... he just found out today.
* Issac brought up meeting with local artist retreat requesting partnership with Knox Makers.
** Tracy wants to throw money in the trash
* Sean wants to do something for Kingsport Maker Faire
* Jondale also stole Tracy's great idea about having a date for KILLSWITCH before the Maker Faire
* People keep adding stuff to the agenda.
* Laurie wants to know if any of us want to be involved in the Mayor's Maker Council.
